dhreComp is the bus compressor that comes from the same approach I bring to my productions: glue the mix and control the dynamics without losing the punch or the air.

the essentials

  • Bus compression with character

    Threshold, Ratio from 1:1 to 50:1, soft Knee and an Auto Release that adapts to the material. Max GR puts a soft ceiling on the compression: the mix glues without getting squashed.

  • Bleed bands

    The lows (30–600 Hz) and highs (1–20 kHz) can bypass the compressor to keep the weight of the kick and the air of the mix. Listen lets you hear just those bands.

  • What happens, in plain sight

    A transfer curve you adjust by dragging, gain-reduction history, the difference between input and output, and a spectrum analyser on the Bleed bands.

  • Free for Windows and macOS

    Stable VST3 for Windows and VST3 plus Audio Units on macOS (beta). Leave your email and you'll get only the installer for the system you choose.

Installation and first steps

  1. Request the installer for your system and open the link you'll receive by email.
  2. Run the dhreComp .exe installer and follow its steps.
  3. Open your VST3-compatible DAW, rescan your plugins and load dhreComp as an effect on a track or a bus.

Didn't get the email?

Check your spam and promotions folders. Make sure the address you typed is right and, if the problem continues, write to contact@dhreian.com with the product and your operating system.

It doesn't show up after installing?

Restart your DAW or OBS after installing. In your DAW, rescan your plugins and check that it supports the format of your version. If it still doesn't show up, include your system and the versions of the product and of your DAW or OBS when you ask for help.
