the essentials
24 bands, 10 shapes
Bell, shelves, cuts from 6 to 96 dB/oct and Brickwall, Notch, Band Pass, Tilt and All Pass, all editable on top of the spectrum analyser.
Three processing modes
Zero Latency, Natural Phase with just 61 samples of latency and Linear Phase with 5 resolutions.
Dynamic EQ
Range, Threshold, Attack, Release and external side-chain on Bell and Shelves, in linear phase too.
Per-band stereo
Each band works in Stereo, Left, Right, Mid or Side, with the curves of each channel in view.
features
You work right on the display: double-click an empty spot to create a band, drag its node to change frequency and gain, and use the mouse wheel on the node to set the Q. Each band can have its own shape, slope, stereo placement and —on Bell and Shelves— dynamic behaviour.
Bands and filters
- 24 bands with 10 shapes: Bell, Low/High Shelf, Low/High Cut, Notch, Band Pass, Tilt Shelf, Flat Tilt and All Pass.
- Slopes from 6 to 96 dB/oct and Brickwall for the cuts (exact in Linear Phase; in the IIR modes it equals 96 dB/oct).
Three processing modes
- Zero Latency: double-precision biquads designed to match the analogue magnitude, without the usual cramping near Nyquist.
- Natural Phase: the Zero Latency engine oversampled x4 with linear-phase FIRs; magnitude and phase very close to analogue and low latency (61 samples).
- Linear Phase: linear-phase FIR with 5 resolutions (latency from 2048 to 32768 samples at 44.1/48 kHz).
Per-band stereo
- Each band can work in Stereo, Left, Right, Mid or Side; in Linear Phase they can also be combined (through a 2x2 FIR matrix).
Dynamic EQ
- On Bell and Shelves: Range, Threshold, Attack, Release and external side-chain, in all three modes.
- In Linear Phase each dynamic band is a parallel linear-phase branch with its gain driven by the detector: the phase stays linear and the latency doesn't change.
Character, output and analyser
- Character: Clean, Gentle and Warm.
- Output: Auto Gain, Gain Scale, level, pan, phase invert and a meter with peak hold.
- Pre/post/side-chain analyser with range, resolution, speed, tilt and freeze.
Workflow
- Per-band solo, Undo/Redo, A/B comparison, 3, 6, 12 or 30 dB display range and a resizable window.
- Global bypass, copy and paste band settings, and shape pictograms in the menus and the panel.
- Shortcuts on the display: Shift for fine adjustment, Ctrl + wheel for the dynamic range, Alt + click turns the band on or off, Ctrl + click or drag on empty space for multiple or lasso selection, and right-click for the band menu.
Presets
- 58 factory presets in 9 categories: Vocals, Voice & Podcast, Drums, Bass, Guitars, Keys & Synths, Strings & Brass, Mix & Master and Creative.
- Your own presets: save, save as, delete, change indicator and Ctrl+S.
Look
- 10 skins: Eclipse, Blood Moon, Midnight, Graphite, Emerald, Obsidian, Slate, Ash, Paper and Ivory.
- 8 curve colours, 6 band colour schemes and an individual colour per band.
- Settings for window sizes, piano roll (keyboard and snapping frequency to notes) and tooltips.
Quality
- Automated tests of the response against the ideal curve from 44.1 to 192 kHz, clicks when switching, block-size independence, mono, side-chain, bypass and CPU, among others.
- Passes pluginval validation at strictness level 10.
price and license
- 19 USD, one-time payment (launch price). No subscription and no expiry.
- One license per person, active on up to 3 computers (for example, your studio computer and your laptop).

- No refunds: all sales are final. Check the requirements before buying.
how it works
- Buy eqlypse. You get your license key and the link to download the installer by email.
- Download and install eqlypse. It's a VST3: your DAW finds it when it scans for plugins.
- Activate your license. In the plugin: Settings (gear) → License... → paste the key and click Activate. Until you activate it, the audio passes through unprocessed.
requirements
- Windows 10 (version 1607) or later, 64-bit (x64).
- A DAW or host that loads VST3 plugins. Today eqlypse ships only as a VST3 for Windows.
- The installer needs administrator rights. By default it installs to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3; you can choose another VST3 folder your DAW scans.
- An internet connection only to activate the license and check it now and then.
- The plugin interface is in English; the installer is in Spanish and English.
frequently asked questions
Can I try it before buying?
There's no trial version. Before buying, check the requirements and the screenshots on this page; if you still have questions, write to contact@dhreian.com and we'll answer before you pay.
Can I get a refund?
No. eqlypse is delivered instantly and all sales are final, so we don't offer refunds. We only correct duplicate or mistaken charges. If eqlypse doesn't work on your system, write to contact@dhreian.com with your purchase email and order number and we'll help you sort it out.
On how many computers can I use my license?
Each license is for one person and can be active on up to 3 computers at the same time. Loading eqlypse several times, from different DAWs or from different Windows accounts on the same computer doesn't use more activations. If you uninstall eqlypse while online, the uninstaller frees that computer's activation.
I'm changing computers or reinstalling Windows. What do I do?
Before you wipe or leave a computer, open Settings (gear) → License... and click Deactivate: that frees the activation so you can use it on another computer. If you can't do that anymore (broken, lost or already wiped computer), write to contact@dhreian.com and we'll help you free it.
Does it work offline?
Yes, with some nuances. To activate the license you need internet once on each computer. After that, eqlypse checks it in the background every 24 hours; without a connection it keeps working for up to 7 days since the last successful check. After that it asks you to connect once (Verify button) and, in the meantime, the audio passes through unprocessed. A temporary network or license service failure never removes your license.
What data does the plugin send?
Only when you activate, check or deactivate the license, and only to Lemon Squeezy: your license key and an activation name such as Windows-1a2b3c4d (a short code for the computer, not your computer's name), plus the IP and the plugin version that every web request carries. There is no telemetry and your audio, projects and presets never leave your computer.
Can I use it in commercial productions?
Yes. The license lets you use eqlypse to produce, mix and master your own or other people's audio, commercially too and royalty-free.
Are updates included?
Your license includes every 1.x update. If there is ever a major version, it may need a new license or a paid upgrade. Updates don't install themselves: you download the new version and install over the old one.
Where is my license key?
It arrives by email from Lemon Squeezy when you buy. If you don't see it, check your spam folder; you can also open your orders at Lemon Squeezy (My Orders) with your purchase email, or write to contact@dhreian.com.
Windows says the publisher is unknown. Is it safe?
Yes. The eqlypse installer doesn't carry a digital signature yet, so Windows can't show who published it. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway. Always download it from your Lemon Squeezy order (the link in your purchase email or My Orders).
Is there a Mac version, or AU, AAX or CLAP?
Today eqlypse ships only as a VST3 for Windows (x64).
